Email Marketing Techniques

With my current business situation and the previous company I worked for a large part of my time was spent designing professional e-shots, which are received by thousands of customers. In this article I will a few tips for the designer and marketeer, have taken from my own experience and knowledge.

From the designers point of view, the e-mail to be attractive. You need to ensure the most boring, visually appealing products look interesting. Because the tip of theE-mail to lure (in most cases) for the viewer to purchase the item. Creativity is important. For example, you may be asked to apply sticky tack. Instead of simply showing a pack of sticky-tack to experiment. Maybe you can tell, the sticky-tack than one font to write your intro text or click show to your "call to action".

That brings me to perhaps the most important element of the e-shot design, the "Call to Action" (CTA). The CTA is the point at which the user responds to yourE-mail. This could be done by clicking on a link or by dialing a number. As you must do as a designer is to CTA stand and be counted. It is also obvious that the marketeer must provide snappy, intelligent copy via a competitive bid because it is in vain without the intuitive design.

Make sure as much information as possible, without saturating the design of the e-shot belong. This balance is be difficult to achieve, but it''fair to point out that the most important thingsincluded are:

– Important Links
Look at the statistics of your page and see what clicked most frequently. Repeat this in your e-mail.

– CTA
Is this a leading product based on / offer, make it clear, and there at the top of the e-mail, so that the user doesn''t have to scroll to see it

– Contact
If you have physical properties of buildings, you should specify somewhere. It is the user feel moreconfident in your company. Provide payment information, adding also the users confidence in your competence as an online trader.

With these basic elements covered, we can look into building and mailing your campaign.

Designing for email is even more difficult that designing for the web, because each e-mail client (Hotmail, AOL etc) reads your HTML different, and this is also affected by the client browser (Firefox, IE etc). Most big companies are getting around various Problems simply by using their images as a large, optimized graphics. This may see the only way the user exactly what you see from them. I recommend this, but if it is not possible, you can cut your graphics in windows. But you try to copy and don''t pout your images into tables to avoid. You may see strange things happen in different browsers. Always a plain-text version of your e-mail and an online version of the browser in the case can''t see it allGround.

There are many bulk e-mail sites available, but I use a vertical response. The sea is very easy to use and also massively expensive.

That 'is all for this article, but there is still much more to say, that I can cover in the future! Thanks for reading.
